About me

I came from a medical family but am the first and only one who practise Chinese and complementary medicine. My journey began way back in Hong Kong.I was first qualified as an aromatherapist in 1996 and gradually extended my "repertoire" to Usui Reiki, Karuna Reiki, Bach Flower Remedies and many other lesser known therapies. In 2002, I completed my Degree course in Traditional Acupuncture at the Oxford Brookes University, and 5 years later my post-graduate training in Chinese herbal patent remedies. In addition to my home clinic, I also practised from a doctor's surgery and a holistic therapy center in my 7 years in the U.K. In 2008, going back to my roots, I returned to China and understudied with many leading professors of the affiliated hospital of Guangdong University of Chinese Medicine.

East meets West

In 2009, I opened a new page in my life. After marrying my American husband, I bid farewell to my many dear patients and moved to the U.S.. It took a while before I got my license to practise acupuncture in North Carolina, and I am looking forward to serving the community here. However, I will not be able to offer Aromatherapy and Chinese patent herbs in the foreseeable future because of the different licensing requirements in the U.S.
